    The jewel of prince islands<\/h1>\n

    Situated just off the east coast of the island of Lefkada and only a 25 minute ferry ride from the port of Nydri, Meganisi is the biggest of the Ionian group of islands colloquially known as \u201cprince islands\u201d and also known as islands of Televoes (named after an ancient peoples in the area who had mastered the seas).<\/p>\n

    With its picturesque fjords and calm coves, Meganisi is a boater\u2019s paradise and the turquoise waters of this part of the Ionian sea indeed attract numerous sailboats, yachts and sunbathers alike.
